The DigiTransPro team recently came together for a transformative Teambuilding Day, aimed at enhancing our teamwork and communication. This special event, held in two parts, was designed to bring our team closer and give us inspiration on how to work more effectively together.
The day began at the beautiful User Innovation Center at IDiAL, where we were joined by an experienced Agile Coach. The focus of this workshop was to define communication setups and rules that could improve the effectiveness of our project team. Following this, the trainer guided us to use discussions to express the things that would improve our collaboration as a whole. Together we defined our project goal in detail, we determined in more detail what connects us, from research interests to teaching. By moderating the training, we basically managed to identify specific areas where we could improve as well as creating a project setup based on the expertise and professional experience of the individual team members.
The second part of our Teambuilding Day was an exciting cooking workshop at the historic Ewald Colliery, located in one of the heavily industrialized Ruhr area. This setting provided a unique backdrop for a hands-on culinary experience, where our team delved into the rich flavors of Italian cuisine. Working together in the kitchen, we prepared almost five delicious dishes, each team member contributing their skills and creativity to the process. This activity not only allowed us to bond over a shared task but also highlighted the importance of collaboration and coordination in achieving a common goal.
The combination of the structured teambuilding workshop and the informal cooking activity created a balanced and effective approach to team development.
Overall, the Teambuilding Day was a resounding success. It provided us with practical tools and insights to improve our communication and effectiveness as a project team, while also allowing us to bond and enjoy a shared experience outside of our usual work environment. We are excited to bring these new strategies and strengthened connections into our daily work at DigiTransPro, confident that they will lead to even greater success in our projects.
