Meet the Outcomes of the Second Erasmus + WORK4CE Project

The second project meeting of the Erasmus+ KA2: Capacity Building in Higher Education “Cross-domain competences for healthy and safe work in the 21st century” (WORK4CE) and a Pilot Teaching were held in Azerbaijan, Baku on 26-28th of October. 

Three intensive days were organized in three universities: Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction(AzUAC), and Academy of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASCCA).

Consortium members had meetings with the Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University Prof. Mustafa Babanli, Vice-Rector for International relations of Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction Dr. Prof. Nargiz Abdullayeva, and Rector of the Academy of the State Customs Committee Prof. Gulu Novruzov.

More than 50 students and 20 academicians were able to take part in the lectures provided by representatives from the partner universities: «Life cycle thinking and sustainable management» by Erlantz Lizundia, «Open Educational Resources» by Galyna Tabunshchyk, «Digital twins» by Tjahjowidodo and Peter Arras, «Constructive communication in business» by Olena Verenych, «Managing Digital Change» by Carsten Wolff,  and «Embedded Systems and Technology Trends» by Asif Ganbayev.

As a result of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Academy of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASCCA) and the Ukrainian partner universities, including the Western Ukrainian National University (WUNU), Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University (NU-ZP), Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture (KNUCA), and Lviv Polytechnic National University (LPNU) was signed.
